Simple Church

We talk about scary stuff and watch scary stuff when Halloween rolls around.  But what really is the scariest thing we face today. It's not clowns or scary images.  The most terrifying thing imaginable in the world today is that most people think they are good.

There were six months that passed between Nehemiah chapters 1 and 2.  During that time, while Nehemiah was waiting for the right time, he was preparing.  When the right moment came, the king asked the servant what he needed…and Nehemiah was ready.

A vision trip to Haiti has turned in to a clear vision for building walls.  Ministry is seeing a need and meeting that need.  Nehemiah saw that Jerusalem needed walls.  He mourned.  He fastest.  He prayed.  Then he went to work for he needs of others.

What is the sin you most struggle with everyday? The difference in sin for an unbeliever and a Christian is that sin deeply bothers a Christian.  We build up a tolerance to sin.  Jesus takes our sin more serious than we do.
